This is your Restorative Community.

The Restorative Community of Aotearoa is proudly maintained by the Diana Unwin Chair in Restorative Justice at Victoria University.
Your place to learn, share, connect, and grow in your understanding of restorative practices
This website has been built by and for those living and working in restorative practices in New Zealand. This community includes restorative justice facilitators, teachers, social workers, academics, government workers, volunteers, and interested members of the public.

Restorative Justice (RJ) is a way of responding to wrongdoing and conflict that seeks to repair the harm by actively involving the affected parties in mutual dialogue and decision-making. Restorative Practices use the principles and values of restorative justice to nurture healthy and respectful relationships in social settings (such as schools, workplaces, churches, etc.) so that everyone can thrive and succeed together.

We are a community of people committed to sharing knowledge, experiences and resources, and to having positive communications regarding areas of common interest. Our members are encouraged to submit content that enriches our community.
